Rocky Mountain Enduro Circuit
The Rocky Mountain Enduro Circuit (RMEC) is—as the name implies—the regional enduro circuit that takes place in Colorado, Texas, Arizona, Wyoming, and Nebraska. Some races, such as Walsenburg and Canon City, tend to be extremely rocky and technical with several ledges, river crossings, and plenty of sand washes. These races tend to be in the 60-80 mile range, made up of several 15-20 mile laps.
Other races, such as Sidney and Milliken, use a combination of a motocross course and grass courses and tend to be in the 50-70 mile range, made up of several 10-15 mile laps.

AMA Endurocross
This relatively new form of racing takes some of the toughest elements of an enduro and brings them indoors. Of course, everything is man-made, from the giant tractor tires, the water crossings, the rock gardens and the fields of firewood, but it makes for close (and unpredictable) racing and one of the most exciting events to watch.
